  • ON MONDAY THE 18th OF JULY AT 10.45 P.M. ON SKY SPORT 2 (AND ALSO ON TUESDAY THE 19th AT 9.45 P.M.) you'll find on sky tv a special movie, "28 secondi" (28 seconds) dedicated to Lampre-Caffita daily life during the last Giro d'Italia.
  • The Sky-sport reporters stayed 23 days with the team to follow the adventures of Cunego and Simoni from Reggio Calabria to Milano. They assisted to the meeting before and after the race, the massages etc...
  • In the movie you'll find in particular three stories: the first difficult moment of the career of Damiano Cunego, the story of the old team-mate Paolo Fornaciari and the enthusiastic tentative of Gilberto Simoni to win the Giro (that he lost for only 28''). The three story are placed in the last stage (Colle delle Finestre one) with the point of view of the Sportive Director Giuseppe Martinelli.
  • Umberto Nigri, journalist at Sky-Sport, had the idea. He says: "I worked with Giuseppe Martinelli last year when I made a movie on Marco Pantani at the Giro d'Italia. For the Giro this year it was really exciting to follow these two so different athletes who are in the same team with the same target to win the Giro".
  • The film is one hour long. Then you'll have the interviews of our team manager Giuseppe Saronni and the journalist of 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' Pier Bergonzi.
